Florence Mezzabarba

Florence Mezzabarba, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2024, at the age of 90, surrounded by her family.  She was the cherished wife of William (Bill) Mezzabarba and a devoted mother to her children, Robbin Jacobs and partner Jodi Zallis, and Michael and Karolyn Jacobs.  She is also survived by her grandkids Christopher & wife Rachel Jacobs and Jonthan & wife Nadia Jacobs along with her great grandchildren Juliana and Natalie Jacobs.

Florence was a beacon of love and kindness in her community. Born 1934, during the height of the great depression, in New York City.  Florence grew up with a passion for people, nature, and her family. She dedicated her life to her family and was known for her warm heart and unwavering support.

Her marriage to Bill was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Over their 43 years together, they built a home filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories. Florence's nurturing spirit and wise counsel were a cornerstone for her children, Robbin and Michael, who were her pride and joy.

Florence's legacy is one of sunny disposition, compassion, and a profound love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones and the many lives she touched.  May she rest in peace.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 2nd, at 10AM.  The location is Glick Family Funeral Home located at 3600 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Boca Care Center, Hospice of Palm Beach, Boca Raton, FL.
