Ernest Diamant

Ernest Diamant, a beloved father, devoted husband, and a respected member of his community, passed away on April 27, 2023, at the age of 97 due to natural causes in Boca Raton, Florida. He came to the US after World War II with his wife Stella and parents. Ernest was a Holocaust survivor, and his determination and resilience inspired all those who knew him.

Ernest was a hardworking man who worked as a tanner in the leather manufacturing industry. He was a loving father to his children, Ruth and Mike, from his first marriage to Stella. Ruth is married to Abe, and Mike to Siobhan. Ernest raised his children in Fanwood, NJ, where he instilled in them the values of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of family.

Ernest was also married to Celia, with whom he shared many happy years. They were both devoted to their faith and were long-time members of the Temple Beth Or congregation in Brick, NJ. Ernest's love for his community and his faith was evident in all that he did, and he was a respected member of the congregation.

Ernest had a passion for automobiles and was known for his love of good food, especially pizza. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, and his infectious laughter and warm smile will be missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all donations be made to the Trustbridge Hospice Palliative Care Facility in Boca Raton, FL. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at the Trustbridge Hospice for their compassionate care and support during Ernest's final days.

Ernest Diamant will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace, knowing that he made a difference in the world and touched the lives of so many.
