Erin Elizabeth Runhaar was born on October 4, 1978 in Huntington, Long Island, New York and entered Heaven on July 18, 2020 in Boca Raton, Fl.
Erin grew up in a loving family in Smithtown, New York. Her childhood was full of many beloved pets, as well as family vacations including a beloved homestead in Johnstown Pennsylvania. Erin moved to Florida with her family in 1993 and graduated Spanish River High School. She attended some college and her passion for helping people geared her into the healing arts. She pursued a career in Massage Therapy. She worked in various positions, within the Healing Arts, eventually becoming the Director of Holistic Services at The Treatment Center for the Palm Beaches for many years in Lake Worth, Fl. She was currently working at the Maui Spa Boca Raton, Fl.
Erin was a beloved daughter of John and Nancy Runhaar of Boca Raton, FL. She is also survived by her sister Heather (Runhaar) Rodger, brother-in-law Keith Rodger, Niece, Lauren Rodger, Nephew, Bryan Rodger as well as her sister, Aimee (Runhaar) Taylor, Niece, Sofie Taylor, Nephew Jack Taylor. She is also survived by her Aunt Cindy (Lloyd) Hayostek and Uncle Tom Hayostek of Pittsburgh, Pa. As well as her Uncle Jack Runhaar and Fanny Runhaar and with their children and grandchildren in The Netherlands.
Erin will be dearly missed not only by her family, but by many other close friends. She had a significant impact on the many lives of whom ever she touched.
A Memorial service will be held to honor Erin's life on Thursday, July 30, 2020, 1pm, at the Boca Raton Community Church (in the Chapel), 470 NW 4th Ave, Boca Raton, Fl 33432
