Erica Sue (De La Pena) Wilson

On Tuesday, October 19, 2021, Erica Sue Wilson, loving wife, and mother of two children passed away at the age of 33. 

Erica was born on October 19, 1988, in Ft. Lauderdale,  FL to Alberto and Sue De La Pena. She received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Central Florida in 2011. On August 28, 2015, she married Ryan William Wilson. They have two lovely children, Isla Summer 3, and Grey Alexander 16 months. Erica worked in Real Estate for a couple of years before having children, she preferred to be a stay-at-home mom. Her greatest joy in life was her two babies and worked at being the best mom she could be.

Erica's life was happy and full of love and laughter, anyone who knew her loved her infectious laugh.   She was kind and considerate, yet told you how it was going to be.

Erica is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Matthew and Barbara Williams and her Paternal grandfather Fernando De La Pena and her Uncle Carlos De La Pena.

Erica is survived by her husband Ryan William Wilson and their two Children Isla and Grey.  Her parents, Alberto and Sue De La Pena, her brothers Andre De La Pena and Daniel De La Pena, his wife Georgia, and child Clara De La Pena. Her paternal grandmother, Beatriz De La Pena. Her Aunts, Uncles, many cousins, and nieces and nephews are all from both sides.

Her Celebration of Life Memorial will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 701 W Palmetto Park Rd, Boca Raton, FL at 10:30 a.m. A reception will immediately follow at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Erica Wilson Educational Fund to support the future educational expenses of her two children. Donations can be made directly through the obituary page on the donation tab at the top of the page.
