It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Elba Marie DiMarco, beloved mother, to Linda Polly (Uhel), Dexter DiMarco (Cynthia), Wendy K DiMarco, and Janis DiMarco. Adored grandmother to Aimee Sciulli, Jason Bianchini, Erik DiMarco (Jennifer), Ryan DiMarco and beloved great grandmother to Bianca, Gianna, Livia, Angelina, Jaymeson, Sophia, Dexter and Aria. Known as Nanny, Elba was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was the most caring and kind person with a huge heart that many experienced. Her motto was, “Give and spend and God will send”.
Throughout her 99 years Elba explored many different careers but most important to her was caring for her family. She was an expert in the kitchen and known especially for her homemade soups and cookies. She was always the life of the party and enjoyed dancing, especially to her favorite song, “Proud Mary”. Elba loved being with her family here in Florida and living on the water, where she enjoyed taking long walks on the beach.
A Funeral Mass for Elba will be held on April 14, 2025 at 11am at Saint Lucy Catholic Church, 3510 S Ocean Blvd, Highland Beach, FL 33487. Interment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach with a luncheon after at Oli’s Fashion Cuisine in Wellington.
Elba will be in the hearts of those who knew and loved her and her memory will live on forever.
