It is with great sadness that the family of Ed Lewczyk announces his sudden passing.
Ed was born in Nanticoke, PA in 1944. He attended Valley Forge Military Academy and graduated from Duquesne University. After he graduated he met his wife Judy, and shortly after they moved to Boca Raton, Florida, where they raised three children: Edward, Michelle, and Christopher. Ed was a successful stockbroker and investment manager for four decades. He was heavily involved in youth sports, and played an instrumental role in the foundation of the Soccer Association of Boca Raton.
Ed’s faith was a guiding force in his life. Being of Polish heritage, he took pride in carrying on the traditions he grew up with, and passed them onto his family. Ed was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church for 46 years.
Ed was a devoted husband, supporting father, and wonderful grandfather who took pride and heartfelt interest in everything his family did. The void we feel in our hearts is only surpassed by the love that Ed had for each of us.
Ed lives on through his wife of 48 years Judy, his children and their spouses, Edward and Elizabeth Lewczyk of Boca Raton, Michelle and Rob Howard of West Palm Beach, and Christopher and Kelly Lewczyk of Parkland, as well as his grandchildren, Robert and Owen Howard, and EJ and Evelyn Lewczyk.
The family will be holding a viewing on Thursday March 1st from 4PM to 7PM at Glick Family Funeral Home, 3600 N Federal Highway, Boca Raton FL 33431.
A mass will be held Friday March 2nd at 10:30 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 370 SW 3rd Street, Boca Raton FL 33432, immediately followed by burial at Boca Raton Cemetery across the street from the church.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Ed’s name.
