Edith Moore

Edith (Edie) M. Moore, age 90, passed away peacefully May 8, 2022.

She was born November 7, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Margaret and William Raley.  Edie is predeceased by her husband Frank Richardson Moore.  She is survived by daughters Deborah (Stephen) Ogden, Janet (Raymond) Carter, her brother Bill Raley, and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Edie went to college in Rochester, New York for teaching.  She spent most of her career teaching, but in her spare time she enjoyed singing and volunteering.  Volunteering became a very big part of her life when she relocated to Florida in the early 1980s.  She spent over 25 years volunteering at the Boca Regional Hospital in the Surgical Center and escorting therapy dogs to visit with patients.  Her affection for dogs and people made this a true labor of love.

Please join us for a memorial service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 8 at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church, 100 N.E. Mizner Boulevard, in Boca Raton, Florida.
