Edee Charlee Paris-Burrows, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026, at the young age of 66.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Edee made her home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Nassau, Bahamas, where she became the heart and soul of her family and friends. Known for her strength, generosity, unwavering support, and boundless love.
Edee was preceded in death by her beloved son, Ryan Fournier, father Oscar Paris, mother Eileen Paris, and her brother-in-law, Kenny Widdes.
She is survived by her husband, Matthew Burrows; her children, Bess (Mark) Robson and Ari Burrows; her grandchildren, Ryder and Asher; her sister, Lorna Widdes; her brother-in-law, Peter (Mae) Burrows; and her sisters-in-law, Cassandra Cartwright, Maxine (Loran) Rahming, Shirley (Leslie) Russell, and Gail (Paul) Bethel.
She was a loving aunt to Jason (Michelle) Widdes, Mike (Holly) Widdes, and Sarah (Ben) Bregg, and a proud great-aunt to Kennedy, Lawson, Emma, and Sadie. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews throughout the Bahamas, Cousins in Chicago and her dear friend Marian Alvarez all of whom held a special place in her heart.
To her family, Edee was more than a wife, mother, bubbe, sister, cousin, and friend; she was the foundation upon which so many leaned. Her love was unconditional, her loyalty unwavering, and her presence larger than life. She had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcomed, valued, and deeply loved.
Edee's legacy lives on through her family, the countless lives she touched, and the beautiful memories she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Services and visitation will be held at Glick Funeral Home in Boca Raton on Saturday, June 20th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Burial to follow at the Boca Raton Cemetery.
