In Loving Memory of Dominic L. DiPerna

The family of Dominic DiPerna is saddened to announce his passing on July 23, 2025, at the age of 91. Dominic was born in Somerville, Massachusetts, to Luigi DiPerna and Maria Percuoco DiPerna. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before embarking on a diverse and fulfilling career. He worked as a carpenter and built homes in Massachusetts and Florida as a general contractor. He also served as an air traffic controller, worked as a computer programmer, and later dedicated many years to the US Post Office as a letter carrier, supervisor, and manager. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dominic was known for his deep love of cars and his legendary sweet tooth—especially for donuts.

Dominic’s legacy lives on through his loving family: his children—Louis (husband to Linda), Lawrence, Dominic (husband to Carrie), and Denise—along with eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Rosalie and sister-in-law Carole, both of Massachusetts.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Phyllis; his brothers—Paul, John, Mario, and Joe; and his daughter-in-law, Gina.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance on Tuesday, July 29, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Glick Family Funeral Home, 3600 North Federal Highway in Boca Raton. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 30, at 11:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 370 SW Third St., Boca Raton, followed by interment at Boca Raton Mausoleum, 451 SW Fourth Avenue, Boca Raton.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the caregivers at Hospice West at the Delray Medical Center for their compassionate care during Dominic’s final days.
