Beloved and adored Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Friend & “second mom” to many.  From Belleville, NJ and Boca Raton, Florida.

Her precious and beautiful soul left this earth to go home to be with the Lord, while at home, surrounded by her loving family.  She fought so hard but just couldn’t fight anymore and sadly passed away from complications due to long term auto-immune disease.

She leaves behind her heartbroken family, husband Rodney Skinner, Daughter Lauren Kalina, (Roger), cherished Grandchildren Jaden Kalina & Michael Kalina, brothers Michael Ferri (Charlotte), Louis J Ferri (Dottie), Gustave R Ferri (Carol), nieces , nephews, cousins, many dear friends and her precious pups, Cookie & BunnyLove.

A talented and successful singer, songwriter ,author and teacher. She had a long and exciting career in the music industry . Beginning in 1958, in one of the original 50’s girl groups, “The Delicates” to go on to work with so many greats of the 50’s 60’s 70’s and 80’s. She wrote songs, performed in many shows, sang backup harmonies on many hit records and popular commercial jingles on the radio. Working and performing with “DJ Murray the K” ,Clay Cole, Lou Christie’s #1 Hit album “Lightening Strikes” , also with The Four Seasons, Joe Pesci and so many, many more.

She was truly and angel on earth with the biggest, most tender heart. She blessed and helped so many people through their hardest times. She was really there to support and cheer on those she held dear and sometimes people she barely knew. She literally would give the clothes off her back. She was gentle, humble ,funny, kind and loving. Always positive, finding the bright side in any situation. She loved unconditionally, forgave easily, had the best sense of humor and could turn anything into a song!

She was quick witted, creative and fun to be around. She loved all animals and rescued many. She was a wonderful, generous, loving, nurturing and really cool grandmother, which was her most favorite role and biggest blessing in life.

She will be greatly missed, every single day.

May her lovely spirit and precious soul rest in eternal, heavenly peace, in the presence of her Lord and Savior, harmonizing in heaven “Beep,Beep,Yeah!  “‘til eternity!”
