Deirdre Kathleen Nolan, of Delray Beach, FL, has left us, as of March 5, 2026, at the age of 76.
Born in New York City on May 17, 1949, she grew up in Stamford, CT. She is survived by her 6 siblings: Judith Nolan Cahill of Ponte Vedra, FL, Patricia Jane (P.J.) Nolan of Jacksonville Beach, FL, Maura Nolan of Dartmouth, MA, Kathleen Nolan McWilliams of Ponte Vedra, FL, Robert B. Nolan of Greenwich, CT, John J. Nolan of Huntington Beach, CA and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and grand-nephews.
Deirdre was athletic and excelled as a swimmer, breaststroke in particular, achieving Junior Olympic status in her teenage years. Our lovely sister attended Marymount College, in Arlington, VA whereafter she enrolled in Nursing School in Washington, D.C. Beyond that, she worked in the hospitality industry as a restaurant/club manager.
She had wisdom, a facile wit and a compassionate and generous nature. She was also beautiful. She considered her life a profound journey. Her loss to us is incalculable. She lives on forever in our hearts.
