In Loving Memory of David “Dave” Stephen Greaves.
Dave was a devoted husband, a proud father and grandfather, and a man whose gentle spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He lived a life defined by humility, generosity, and deep love for his family. Born March 31st, 1957, Dave grew up in Seekonk, Massachusetts, where he learned early the values of family and helping others—qualities that stayed with him throughout his life. He served in the United States Air Force early on, a period he rarely spoke about but one that remained an important part of his story. After his service, he pursued his passion for craftsmanship and founded a successful luxury flooring company specializing in high-end yachts. His work was known for its precision and excellence—just like the man behind it.
Outside of his work, Dave had a passion for photography. He loved capturing meaningful moments—family gatherings, quiet scenes, and the small details of everyday life. Through his lens, he found a way to preserve memories and share his unique perspective with those he loved.
Dave was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Diane Curcio Greaves. Their bond was unshakeable, and he spoke of her often, always with the deepest love and gratitude. Not a day passed that he didn’t carry her memory with him. He is survived by his daughters, Heather (Zach) and Amber, whom he loved deeply. He was a proud grandfather to Heather’s two children, Henry and Penny, who brought him immense joy. Dave also leaves behind his siblings, each of whom he cherished: his sister Joan (Jerry), and his brothers Robert (Susan), Russell (Elaine), and Ray (Michelle). Dave was a dedicated and active member of the Moose Lodge, where he volunteered his time, served as a board member, and formed meaningful friendships. The Lodge community will deeply miss his steady presence, warm heart, and willingness to help whenever needed.
Though a man of few words, Dave’s actions spoke for him. He was generous beyond measure, always the first to lend a helping hand, and never asked for anything in return. Time with family meant everything to him, and he carried that value throughout his entire life. Dave’s legacy is one of love, humility, service, creativity, and quiet kindness. He passed the afternoon of December 4th, 2025 at 68 years old. His absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but his memory will remain a guiding light for all who loved him.
May he rest in peace, reunited with his beloved Diane.
