Darlene Annette Diak, age 58, of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024. Born on November 3, 1965, she will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for her extraordinary strength and kindness.
Darlene had an incredible zest for life, living every moment to the fullest. For over 30 years, she ran Domani Motors, a successful car dealership in Deerfield Beach, FL. As one of the few women to hold a car dealer license in the state of Florida, she was well-known to anyone with a passion for exotic and luxury cars. Darlene also held a degree in Interior Design. She helped many elite clients with the decor of their homes and businesses, all while raising four remarkable children.
Her passion for travel was unmatched, and she took great pleasure in sharing this love with others. She designed itineraries that captured the most incredible highlights of each country and city she visited. Her greatest joy was bringing people together, whether by arranging dinner plans at memorable restaurants or hosting gatherings at her own table. As a formidable hostess, an invitation to one of her meals was always a cherished occasion.
Darlene was the kind of person you could call at a moment's notice, and she would drop everything to be there for you, supporting you with whatever you needed—especially if it involved a new car. She believed in charity and spent her Saturdays working with Changing Lives in Boca Raton, where she mentored homeless individuals striving to transform their circumstances. To honor the countless lives she impacted, they plan to dedicate a section of their thrift shop called "Darlene’s Corner."
A visitation will be held from 2-3 PM on Saturday, August 24 at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 3:00 PM. To watch the live stream of the service please click the following link http://meet.google.com/fdi-djgw-txi.
