Darlene Beeh Obituary

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Darlene Elizabeth Beeh on February 6th, 2024.  Born on August 30th, 1931, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, Darlene's journey was rich in strong family values and community service. Her academic journey led her to the University of Iowa, where she earned a degree in sociology, preparing her for a life dedicated to understanding and aiding those around her.

The story of Darlene's love for her husband, Robert Beeh, is one for the ages. Having met in the second grade, their friendship blossomed into a lifelong partnership, culminating in their marriage in 1954. In 1958, they embarked on a new chapter together in Boca Raton, Florida, where they nurtured and raised a loving family of six children: Stephanie Rosner, Kirsten Johnson, Nancy Beeh, Barrett Beeh, Alane Rosner, and Stacey Kerr.  Darlene's legacy continued to grow with the addition of nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.

Darlene's spirit of service and commitment to helping others was evident through her work with The Girl Scouts of America, Boca Helping Hands, Family Promise, and many other volunteer organizations that benefited immensely from her compassion and dedication.  Darlene and Bob were long-time founding members of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Boca Raton.  They contributed actively to the church throughout the years and benefited greatly from belonging to the parish.

Darlene loved the outdoors, especially spending time by the ocean with walks on the beach and creating special memories with family and friends at the family beach house in Sebastian, Fl.  The beach house remained a haven for Darlene, Bob and family to connect with each other and spend quality time together. Darlene also loved music.  She enjoyed the piano – not only playing but also sharing her love of the piano with her children and grandchildren.  Notably, she had a song for every occasion.

Most importantly, Darlene had immense love for her lifelong partner Bob.  Everyone that knew them quickly realized that they were a great team together.  They were the beloved heads of “The Beehive”.  Darlene lived a life marked by love, dedication, and service. As we remember her, let us celebrate the remarkable legacy she leaves behind—a legacy of family, friendship, and a community enriched by her presence. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will continue to inspire those she touched.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Boca Helping Hands or Trustbridge Hospice in Darlene's memory.

A private family mass will be held in celebration of Darlene's beautiful life.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
