Dante Alfonso Aliaga Malaver

Dante Alfonso Aliaga Malaver, a beloved son, brother, and uncle, died unexpectedly on September 26, 2024 at the age of 52. 

Dante is survived by his parents, Hilda Aliaga and Mario Aliaga; his sisters, Giovanna Taylor and Rocio Sherwood; his nieces, Sofia Taylor and Samantha Taylor; and his nephew, Jhonatan Cano.

He graduated from the University of Federico Villarreal in 1995 with a degree in Business Administration. Before this, he attended San Agustín Catholic School. For many years of his life, he was an administrator for the City of San Luis. In 2023, he moved to the United States to reunite with his family who moved away in the early 2000s. He rapidly found a job at Walmart, where he made several new friends he always talked about. He was a hard worker who exemplified great responsibility. 

Family was the most important part of his life. He really enjoyed going to the beach with his brother-in-law, Randy Sherwood. Similarly, he loved to share a beer with his other brother-in-law, Patrick Taylor. Dante loved to dance to his favorite music. His family and friends like to use the word “charismatic” to describe him.

Dante Alfonso Aliaga Malaver, un querido hijo, hermano y tío, falleció inesperadamente el 26 de septiembre de 2024 a la edad de 52 años. 

A Dante le sobreviven sus padres, Hilda Aliaga y Mario Aliaga; sus hermanas, Giovanna Taylor y Rocio Sherwood; sus sobrinas, Sofia Taylor y Samantha Taylor; y su sobrino, Jhonatan Cano.

Se graduó de la Universidad Federico Villarreal en 1995 con la licenciatura en Administración de Empresas. Previamente, asistió al Colegio Católico San Agustín. Durante muchos años de su vida fue administrador de la Municipalidad de San Luis. En 2023, se mudó para los Estados Unidos para reunirse con su familia que se mudó a principios de la década del año 2000. Rápidamente encontró trabajo en Walmart, donde hizo varios amigos nuevos de los que siempre hablaba. Era un gran trabajador que ejemplificaba una gran responsabilidad. 

La familia era la parte más importante de su vida. Le gustaba mucho ir a la playa con su cuñado, Randy Sherwood. Asimismo, le encantaba compartir una cerveza con su otro cuñado, Patrick Taylor. A Dante le encantaba bailar con su música favorita. Su familia y amigos describen a Dante como una persona carismática, alegre, sociable, y muy servicial.
