Daniel Monahan

Daniel Monahan (95) peacefully passed away on March 9, 2019. He was born on October 29, 1923 to Mary and Larry Monahan of Staten Island NY.  Dan attended Curtis High School, Villanova, Notre Dame Midshipmen School and graduated from Fordham. He proudly served his country in the Navy during World War II. 

Dan married the love of his life Mildred Sullivan in 1950, and shared 57 wonderful years before she passed in 2007. Together they raised four children. He also enjoyed a long and successful career in the toy industry. 

Dan is preceded in death by his parents, sister Anne, wife Mildred and children Karen, Kevin and Keron. He is survived by his daughter Kimberly (Harold), grandchildren: Gladys Marie (Frank), Tito( Hada), Jade (Dustin), Ryan, Danny and Kelly and 10 great grandchildren. 

A memorial mass in Dan’s honor will be celebrated on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 10:30am at St. Lucy’s Catholic Church, Highland Beach FL with final internment on Staten Island NY.
