Constance Hebert Obituary

Constance “Tina” Hebert, dedicated mother and grandmother, loving wife, and beloved daughter and sister passed away on March 4 th , 2024 in Boca Raton, Florida at the age of 68.

She was born on August 6th , 1955 in Hartford, Connecticut to Salvatore and Lucia Bottaro. Tina met Gary Hebert when she was just 15 years old. They were married at St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Hartford, Connecticut five years later on June 7 th , 1975. During their 48 years of marriage, Tina and Gary raised two incredible daughters, Cheryl and Cristin. Tina was a dedicated coworker with amazing attention to detail. She had a natural gift for numbers and worked as a bookkeeper for over 25 years.

Tina will be remembered for her selflessness, infectious laugh and wonderful home cooked meals- especially her homemade manicotti and apple cakes. She was a generous hostess who could often be found stirring a pot of pasta sauce with one hand and sipping a glass of wine with the other. Tina was curious and observant. She always asked about those around her and was truly interested in what was shared. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, boating, skiing, playing slots at the casino and especially fishing. Above all else, she valued time with her family and friends. She prioritized every birthday, anniversary, holiday, and treasured every moment she got to spend with them.

Tina was one “tough cookie” who miraculously beat stage 4 lung cancer with grace and bravery. In her most recent years, she spent much of her time doing what she did best- caring for her family members. She frequently traveled back and forth from Florida to California when her older daughter Cheryl began a struggle with cancer. She spent countless hours with her grandson, Cameron Spicer-playing, taking him to school and sports, and cooking endlessly for the family. She would take a break only to fly home to Florida to help her mother Lucy, cook a week's worth of meals for Gary, and be back to California the next week. Tina will be forever missed and remembered with love.

She is survived by her husband Gary, daughter Cristin, mother Lucy, brother Joe, and grandson Cameron. She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter Cheryl and her brother Vincenzo.
