Christopher Shawn Moyer

On October 7, 2025 Christopher S. Moyer passed away at his home in Deerfield Beach, FL. The eldest son of Sandra Lynne Moyer and Michael F. Moyer (deceased), Chris was born May 9, 1966 at Camp Pendleton, CA.

He grew up and attended schools in Poughkeepsie, NY, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and graduated from Boca Raton High School, FL. He received a bachelor’s degree from Mercer University, Macon, GA where he was manager of the Bears’ basketball team. After college he made his home in Boca Raton and Deerfield Beach, Florida.

In and out of school he enjoyed playing soccer, baseball and following rock concerts. He turned his love for music into CSM Enterprises in which he photographed bands and businesses to develop their publicity. During the last ten years he was employed by the Bambrella Company, Pompano Beach, FL.

Chris is survived by his mother Sandra Lynne Moyer and his younger brother Todd Moyer with his wife Emily and daughter Juliana. He is also survived by four uncles and their familles: Rick Bayles Houston, TX; Walter Moyer Syracuse, NY; John Moyer, Philadelphia, PA.
 

A Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, October 29 at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton where a Funeral Service will be held at 6:30 PM. Flowers are welcomed.
