Cecil Osborn Conner
Cecil passed away suddenly on January 3. 2020.
Cecil was born September 7, 1951 in Miami to Charles and Katie Lee Conner, they moved to Boca Raton in 1958 and have resided here ever since, he graduated from Boca High School Class of 1970.
Cecil is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Katie Lee Conner, brother Robert, and sisters Kathleen and Brenda Lee.
Cecil is survived by his wife Susan married 46+ years, sisters: Virginia Pohl, Charlene Thompson, nephews: Christopher, Darrin, Dennis and Bobby , Charles, nieces: Ashley, Melissa, Jennifer, Jessica, Millie and Katie, and multiple great nephews and nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Cecil was a devoted husband and uncle and avid hunter, fisherman, kayaker and mountain biker.
He loved competition be it hunting, biking, long range shooting, he loved the woods that was his happy place as he called it his peace and quiet time.
Electrician by trade he has met many people along the way be it his old bosses , customers, business owners he made friends with many of them and has remained friends with them to this day, he touched many lives for the better and for that we are most greatfull. Always polite, wanting to help anyone that needed it , was a cut up always, practical joker, had infectious smile which which will be missed, he especially loved to sing songs to you to make you laugh. He will be missed and he is loved dearly.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 19 at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton.
