Carol Leahy, age 80, passed away on February 7, 2025, after a lengthy battle with heart disease.
Daughter of Mildred and Joseph Donofrio and big sister to Joseph ("my Joey"), Carol found joy and partnership with her husband, Michael, with whom she shared a deep and abiding love for 56 years. Together, they built a beautiful family, welcoming their two children, Michael and Crista, who were the pride and joy of her life.
Carol was known for her warm heart, radiant smile, competitive spirit and abiding concern (worry) for her family and friends. A devoted mother, she supported her children in all of their endeavors, instilling in them the values of love, compassion, and resilience. Her unwavering nurture and support have left an indelible mark on their lives.
In addition to her husband Michael, and their two children, Michael and Crista, she is survived by her daughters-in-law Jennifer Leahy (Michael) and Michelle Walker (Crista), and her grandchildren Jacqueline Leahy, Michael Leahy, Emily Leahy, Julia Morrow, Jackson Walker, Robbie Morrow and Annabelle Walker.
