Brian Dunne Obituary

It is with an extremely heavy heart and immense love we announce the sudden passing of Brian W. Dunne on April 29, 2022.  Preceding him in death was his father, Francis Dunne, his mother, Jane Larkin Ciampi, his stepfather Francis “Frank” Ciampi and his brother Shaun Dunne.  Left to cherish his memory are his sisters Tara Dunne of Delray Beach, Janey Ciampi Bass of Delray Beach and his stepsisters Cindy Ciampi-Jones, Julie Ciampi and Laureen Ciampi-Rooze, also nieces Kendall Clark & Carly Clark, Shauni Bass and nephews Daxon and Jeremy Bass.  They will always remember Uncle Brian and will continue to make him proud.  He is also survived by his former wife Stephanie Dunne and longtime girlfriend Stephanie Bilodeau.  Brian had cherished memories with many cousins growing up, Maureen, Debbie, Bill, Tom Dunne and Fred Tolerico.  As well as the Larkin cousins he grew up with, Robin Larkin Verrato (recently deceased), Brad Larkin, Kelly Larkin Good, Robert Larkin Jr., Kerry Larkin, Holly Larkin Leone, John Larkin Jr., Susie Larkin Kneece & Ellen Larkin Grbic.

Brian was born February 23, 1960, in Waterbury CT.  He graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1978 and Assumption College in 1982.  He enjoyed traveling and spent time studying International Relations at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. His travels took him to Germany, Austria, France and Africa.

Brian was an avid body builder, loved the beach (his East office) and cherished his weekends at The Colony Beach Club.  He greatly appreciated his daily morning breakfasts with the gentlemen at Saquella Cafe and Einstein Bagels.

Brian’s career started at just seventeen years old when he spent a summer as a refuse collector, yes, Our Brian!  He kept the coeds safe at Assumption College as a campus police officer and in the 80’s he was the manager of the Improper Bostonian in Dennis, MA.  He then moved to New York City and had a career as a model for the infamous Wilhelmina.  He Relocated to Florida joining his uncle Harry Larkin and continued his responsibility of law enforcement by serving as a Palm Beach Sheriff and DEA Agent.  After the loss of his brother Shaun, he retired and opened his own business as a Private Investigator and also owned a pawn shop.  In the past decade he pursued a career as a loan officer with Choice Mortgage and became a senior account executive at Complete Home Health Care.

He will be remembered most for his kindness, huge heart, helpful soul, big blue eyes, striking looks and dapper wardrobe. He will be deeply missed by so many whose hearts he touched.
