Our deeply beloved Brett Sean Dalais, 42, of Coconut Creek, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on July 15, 2025. Born on January 5, 1983 in Durbin, South Africa. He was the beloved Son of Marques and Susan Dalais, the fiancé of Janene Rivera and Stepfather to Mia. He also beloved by His sister Monique Spiers and her husband Christopher Spiers, his niece Natalie and nephews Marc and Bradley. He was adored by his in-laws and their family and considered him their loving son.
Brett was a compassionate, loving, remarkable soul that cared for others always willing to help a friend or loved one. His sarcastic sense of humor brought great happiness and his smile touched our hearts. He found joy in his career as a phenomenal chef and gave us all the gift of enjoying his delicious and creative dishes. In his youth, he was an excellent athlete and enjoyed spending time with his mates and sister. He adored spending time with his family and friend and filled each day with gratitude. Brett showed us what true love, compassion and friendship should be. He showered his fiancé and step daughter, parents, sister and her family with love. He gave us encouragement, strength, motivation and love whenever we needed him most. He surrounded all who knew him with a positive light.
He is survived by his beloved fiancé Janene Rivera and Stepdaughter Mia, his loving parents, Susan Dalais and Marques Dalais, sister, Monique Spiers and her husband Christopher Spiers, his niece Natalie and nephews Marc and Bradley and as well as close friends which her deeply cared for.

No words will ever express how deeply missed Brett will be by all who knew and loved him. The love he gave us still lives and we will carry him in our hearts forever.
