Bonni Sue Gross

Bonni Gross, 76, left this world peacefully on August 10, 2022. A life long resident of Chicago, she followed her dream and happily moved to Florida several years ago.

Bonni was beautiful, strong, loving and caring, with a great love for living life to the fullest.  She was a school teacher and a realtor. Bonni loved fashion, decorating, event planning as well as cooking. She enjoyed being a fashion model, and her wealth of knowledge about fashion and clothing was evident in her business as fashion consultant.

Bonni dealt with cancer for six years with her characteristic grace and strength, and  no complaints. Her precious spirit and bright light will be missed by everyone blessed to have known her.

Preceded in death by parents Clarence and Estyre Edelman, Bonni is survived by her daughter Jennifer Oppenheimer, son in law Jimmy Oppenheimer, grandchildren Charlie and Sienna, sister Sande Greene, niece Heidi Winner Odom, cousins, other family members, companion Roger Gorwitz and many many friends. Bonni was irreplaceable and her memory will light their way.

The family asks that a tree be planted or a contribution be made in her memory to a favorite charity.
