Beverly Mae Sirlin Staley, born April 23, 1929 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025 at Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton, Florida.
She is survived by her four daughters, Allyson Samiljan (Steven); Brooke Qualk (Ronald); Daryl Urbanek (David); and Meredith Staley and her partner, Teresa Dalton; her grandsons, Joseph Urbanek, Brendon Qualk (Julia), Adam Samiljan (Katherine), Jordan Qualk (Tara), Chad Samiljan (Katherine), and Logan Qualk; great-grandchildren Jacob and Mia Qualk; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Roger H. Staley (2010); parents Harold Alderman Sirlin (1957) and Floy Lillian Hatch Sirlin (1997); and brother, Edward Allan Sirlin, Sr. (1990).
After living briefly in Cincinnati, Ohio, her family moved to Milford, Connecticut where she attended Lauralton Hall and graduated from Milford High School; thereafter she attended Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. During high school, she met Roger and married him on February 20, 1948. After a brief time operating the Village Inn Grill, a restaurant and lounge in Skaneateles, New York, they relocated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and remained in South Florida where they raised their family. She was an early member of the Charity Guild of Fort Lauderdale, was an avid reader, loved doing crossword puzzles, and was a formidable Words with Friends opponent.
A private family Interment will be held at Boca Raton Mausoleum.
