Some people leave behind memories. Others leave behind a way of living that changes everyone around them. Bert Hamilton was one of those rare people.

On July 15, 2026, our world lost an extraordinary husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was 50 years old, and while his time with us feels far too short, the love he poured into the lives of others will continue for generations.

Born on April 23, 1976, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, to Jeffrey Hamilton and Pam Hallberg, Bert lived a life defined not by what he accomplished for himself, but by what he did for others. He was one of the most selfless people anyone could ever hope to know. Helping others wasn't something he did occasionally—it was simply who he was. Whether someone needed advice, encouragement, a helping hand, or someone to stand beside them during a difficult time, Bert showed up. He never kept score, never expected anything in return, and never hesitated to put someone else's needs before his own.

If there was one thing Bert loved more than helping others, it was his family.

On November 4, 2012, he married the love of his life, Randi, in Marco Island. Together they built a marriage rooted in unconditional love, unwavering support, laughter, and faith. Through every season of life, they stood side by side, creating a home where everyone who entered felt welcomed and loved.

Nothing, however, compared to the love Bert had for his children—Hannah, Connor, and Cooper.

Bert wasn't simply a father who showed up to games, school events, or celebrations. He was fully present. He invested his whole heart in raising his children to become kind, compassionate, honest, and strong people. He cared deeply about their character, not just their accomplishments. He wanted them to know they were loved beyond measure, and he made sure they felt it every single day.

His greatest joy wasn't found in grand moments, but in the everyday ones—laughing together, sharing adventures, teaching life lessons, making memories, and simply spending quality time with the three people he loved most. His children never had to wonder where they stood in his life. They were his greatest blessing, his proudest achievement, and the center of his world.

Bert also poured that same dedication into his work as the proud owner of All American Gutters. He believed in working hard, keeping his word, and treating everyone with honesty and respect. To Bert, business was never just about building something—it was about serving people well.

He lived life with passion and enthusiasm. Whether he was deep-sea fishing, hunting, snorkeling, traveling, cheering on his favorite football teams, or enjoying the outdoors, Bert embraced every adventure. Yet no matter where life took him, the people beside him always mattered more than the destination.

Perhaps one of Bert's most remarkable accomplishments was celebrating 20 years of sobriety. It was a testament to his incredible strength, perseverance, and faith. Through his own journey, he became a source of hope and inspiration for others, proving that even life's hardest battles can become someone's greatest testimony. His story reminded people that healing is possible, that second chances are real, and that every day is worth fighting for.

Bert is survived by his beloved wife, Randi Hamilton; his cherished children, Hannah, Connor, and Cooper Hamilton; his mother, Pam Hallberg; his siblings, Ashley Lewellen, Jeff Hallberg, and Trey Hallberg; along with countless extended family members, dear friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.

He was welcomed into Heaven by his father, Jeffrey Hamilton, and Rick Hallberg.

It is impossible to measure the impact of one person's life, but anyone who knew Bert felt it. He loved without reservation. He gave without expecting. He listened without judgment. He made people feel seen, valued, and important. He had an incredible way of making others believe in themselves simply because he believed in them first.

His family will remember the father who was always there, not because he felt obligated, but because there was nowhere else he would rather have been. His friends will remember the loyal man they could call at any hour. Those whose lives he quietly changed through his kindness will remember a man whose generosity knew no limits.

The world is undeniably better because Bert was in it.

A Celebration of Bert's Life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the Boca Raton Christian School Chapel with a reception to follow. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate a life so beautifully lived and a man so deeply loved. Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing that love like Bert's does not end. It lives on in the family he adored, in the friends he inspired, in the countless acts of kindness done in his memory, and in every lesson he taught simply by the way he lived.

We will miss his laugh, his strength, his wisdom, his generous heart, and his unwavering love. But above all, we will remember the way he made each of us feel—loved, accepted, and never alone.
