Barbara Elizabeth Cales

The world lost a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Barbara Elizabeth Cales, on May 11, 2024, at the age of 80. Barbara died in her home with her children Cynthia and Paul, on either side of her, holding her hand.

Barbara retired from Publix and is remembered by her colleagues as the one that always made them laugh and left them with way too many funny stories to count.

Barbara is survived by her daughters Cynthia Pohl and husband Robert Clark, Carol Dowler and sons Joseph and James Aliseo, and son Paul Pohl, wife Kristin and daughters Milena and Briana.

Her children wanted to share that “She will never be forgotten for all of her love, kindness, generous and selfless ways, and thank God for giving them the Best Mother a child could ever ask for. Until we see her again, our hearts will forever be broken, but know she will be patiently waiting for us to join her in heaven. We Love You Mom!!! Xoxo”

Friends are invited to say a final goodbye to Barbara at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton, Florida on May 25th at 11:00 a.m.
