April 9, 1934--December 14, 2021

Audrey Michele, 87, of Boca Raton passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Audrey was born April 9, 1934, in Brooklyn, NY. She is survived by her children, Vern, Lori and Tamara Swett, her step-children, Larry and Terri Michele, her daughter-in-law, Rebecca Swett and her son-in-law, Sean Nicholson. She is also survived by her brother George Aspinall, and her grand-children, Kiva and Wyatt Ebert, Jordan Swett, and Robert and Mary Michele. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Dominic Michele, her brother, Edward Aspinall and her daughter, Teri.

 

Audrey was married to her first husband Rev. Vardell Swett for 23 years, during which she was extremely active in the life of his churches. She served as a youth group leader, activities coordinator and fellowship leader. Later in life she developed her own Laughter Ministry. Audrey and her second husband, Dominic Michele, shared 31 years of life together. They especially enjoyed traveling the world together, including Alaska, Australia, Ireland, Greece and Brazil, where they enjoyed visiting family.

 

A loving mother, step-mother and wife, Audrey was passionate about life, always actively involved in various activities with her family, friends and church.

 

As she wished, Audrey’s ashes will be buried next to Dominic’s at the South Florida National Cemetery in Palm Beach County, Florida. A Memorial Service will be held there March 11, 2022 at 10AM. (Arrive at 9:45AM, Lane 5.) A Celebration of Life will follow at the clubhouse of her condominium complex, Boca Verde East.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Audrey’s memory may be made to HousingPlus, NYC, or St Ann Place in West Palm Beach, FL. HousingPlus is a non-profit organization that meant a lot to Audrey. It provides community-based housing and services to women in need to help them build stable lives and St Ann Place is a non-profit organization to assist homeless men and women.
