In Memory of Anthony N. Susca
Anthony N. Susca passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2020. Survived and missed dearly by his beloved son, Paul Susca; daughter, Madeline Johnson and best friend, his puppy, Bella. He now rests peacefully with his wife of 56 years, Fonda Susca.
Born on June 16, 1940 in Long Island City, Queens, NY to Anna Maria and Paul Susca, Anthony is brother to Frank, Dominick and Lawrence Susca.
A loving, intelligent and generous father, brother and grandfather, Anthony is survived by his four granddaughters, Aja Marie Johnson, Ariel Ann Johnson, Amber Grace Johnson and Alana Terese Johnson and his son in law, Gregory Johnson.
Anthony and Fonda moved from Bayville, Long Island, New York, to enjoy their new homes in Fort Myers and Punta Gorda Florida from 2003. Always together, the two of them enjoyed hosting dinner parties for their friends, sailing Charlotte Harbor and taking their beagle Freddo to the dog park.
His funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am on Thursday, April 9th at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Deerfield Beach and his burial at 10:30 am on Friday, April 10th at Fort Lauderdale Memorial Park where he will rest peacefully next to Fonda and her twin sister Angela and his mother-in-law Magdalena Barberini.
