Anne Marie Zajac, 91, of Boca Raton passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025.
She was a long-term parishioner at St. Joan of Arc in Boca Raton.
Anne Marie was born in New Jersey. She was very proud of her New Jersey roots, having graduated from Atlantic City High School in 1950. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami, where she met the love of her life, Louis R. Zajac. She continued her education at Trenton State and received a master’s degree in education. She taught primary school in New Jersey for 25 years.
Anne Marie spent her summers surrounded by her family at her home in Margate, New Jersey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis R. Zajac and her two sons Dr. Joseph R. Zajac and Michael A. Zajac.
She is survived by her loving grandchildren: Louis Zajac of New York, Elizabeth Gutierrez (Anthony) of Bradenton, Florida, Joseph Zajac (Madeline) of Tiburon, California, precious great-grandson, AJ Gutierrez, daughter in law, Nancy Zajac, niece, Michelle (Kevin) O’Hara, and her cousins, Joanne Gormley, Carol Karivalis and Jacky Libro.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 7 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Boca Raton. Entombment will follow at the Boca Raton Mausoleum.
