Anne Brookes Wohlberg, born Patricia Anne Boyd, was born in Atlanta Georgia on February 13th 1940. She was an only child to Grace Kendrick Boyd and Alfred Boyd. She was abandoned by her dad at age five and later adopted by Charles Hollingsworth her adopted Dad. Married to Donald Brookes in 1957, she had two children Kenneth Earle Brookes and Nancy Anne Brookes. She was a housewife until her children got older. Then she had a career as an interior designer and commercial carpet sales rep.
She was a loving, caring mother, wife and grandmother. A faithful woman of God, very involved in the church and sang in the choir. Anne is preceded in death by her second husband Gene Wohlberg who passed in 2018 with whom she was married for 40 years. Anne went home to be with the Lord Nov 7th 2025 after a fall and broken pelvis.
She is survived by :
Her children: Kenneth Earle Brookes and Nancy Anne Hill. Their father: Donald Brookes.
Her step-children: Ingrid Fields, Steve Wohlberg, Michael Wohlberg, and Cathy Craig.
Her grandchildren: Nathan Brookes and Melissa Roscosky
As well as Nieces ,nephews and cousins family and friends who loved her. She will be deeply missed. We all loved you profoundly. You have been promoted to glory in the presence of your Savior Jesus.
