Heverin, Anne P. 81, of Boca Raton passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at John Knox Village. Anne was formerly of Bergenfield, New Jersey where she grew up and raised her family. More recently, she was a member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
Anne received a nursing degree from St. Vincent’s Hospital School of Nursing in New York City. She went on to study psychology at Ramapo College and earned an MBA from Farleigh Dickinson University. She had a fulfilling career as a Registered Nurse at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in NYC, Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ and Boca Regional Hospital in Boca Raton, Florida.
Anne loved people and was an avid volunteer throughout her life. In New Jersey, she volunteered at Franklin School, the Bergenfield Public Library and the local Swim Club. Later, she volunteered at the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center and Shared Care in Boca Raton. Anne had diverse interests, which included traveling, reading, gardening and the beach.
She is predeceased by her husband Jim and survived by her son Tim with his wife Allison of Downers Grove, Illinois, grandchildren Patrick, Katy and Nora; and daughter Anne Marie Heverin of Hoboken, NJ.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30am on Friday, October 24, 2025 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Deerfield Beach.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League (peggyadams), an animal rescue from which Anne adopted two fantastic companions—Maya and Tina.
