With deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of Anna Zampano.
Anna Zampano, born Anna Pitti, was born on October 16, 1942 in Brooklyn New York to Anna and Andrew Pitti. She was the oldest of 4 children-dearest sister to Ursula, Joseph, who sadly passed away at the age of 15, and finally the baby, Rose.
Anna loved school, but loved beauty and fashion even more. She became an incredibly talented hairdresser at a very young age, even winning awards in her amazing career. Anna was married to Gino in 1964, and went on to start their family with son Andrew in 1968, and son Joseph in 1972. Anna’s biggest love in life was her family-she devoted her life and time, all day and every day to her entire family. She loved entertaining, having family gatherings, cooking for her loved ones, gathering around the table for coffee and talking and laughing about all the good times. There isn’t a person who met her who didn’t love her. She loved deeply and immeasurably and was not afraid to show it.
Anna passed away on May 26, 2022. She is survived by her loving sons-Andrew and Joseph, daughter in law Alina, and the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Isabella Francesca and Vincent Joseph. She is also survived by her loving sisters, brother in law Sal, and many nieces and nephews. She is so loved and will be dearly missed.
A visitation will be held from 1-5 PM on Sunday, May 29 at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton where a Funeral Service will begin at 4:00 PM.
