Ann Patricia Johnston

Ann Patricia Johnston, 80, of Boca Raton, Florida unexpectedly passed away Friday August 9, 2024.  Ann was a beloved  daughter, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed.  All that knew Ann would attest that her magnetic personality, elegance and radiant charm could “light up” a room with her charming British accent.

Born November 24 1943 in Liss, Hampshire, UK, was the daughter of the late  James and Florence, twin sister of Sandra and younger sister Sylvia. 

Ann moved to the United States at the age of 22 with the firm determination of accomplishing her dreams and passion about designing and decorating. Ann’s ability to transform a room with a simple touch of class and beauty was incredible.  Ann had a degree in Design. Along with one of her best friend, Susan successfully created a Decorating and Designing Company in Boca Ratón.

Ann valued her relationships with family and friends and enjoyed any opportunity to catch up with them. 

Ann was elegant by nature, known for her good taste and love for fashion,  but also happy just admiring the simple beauty around her.  Small dogs and plants were always present in her life. Ann was warm and generous in spirit with a wry British sense of humor.

Ann was a great friend to many. She touched the lives of those around her with her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support. Her presence brought comfort and joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Ann’s life was a testament to the values of love, dedication, and friendship. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who were fortunate to know her. Her legacy of love and kindness and style will live on in the hearts of her loved ones forever.

Ann is survived by her twin sister Sandra and younger sister Sylvia . She will also be dearly missed by her close friends, nieces, nephews, cousins and anyone else that had the pleasure of meeting her during her lifetime.

The family will have a memorial service at Glick Family Funeral Home on Federal Highway on Saturday 24, 2024 at 11am and invite her friends who would like the opportunity to come say goodbye to Annie.
