Alison Fischer-Wollenberg, 53, of Coral Springs, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from complications of adrenal cortical carcinoma.
Alison was a dedicated mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and loyal friend. She spent 21 years as both a nurse and charge nurse at Boca Regional Hospital, leading to her pursuit of a master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner in Oncology, with an AGPCNP-BP designation.
Alison had a wonderful sense of humor and loved spending time with her family and friends wholeheartedly. She was known for her positive outlook and for always being the “bright light” in the room. Ali’s focus never wavered from doing everything in her power to ensure her son’s well-being and happiness. Her marriage to her husband Craig, parenting Cole, and purchasing the home they loved, on a street of special friends, brought her much contentment.
Alison’s determination to care for her patients, while going through her own health struggles was admirable. Her smile, laughter and warm caring ways will forever be a part of all those she touched.
Alison is survived by her loving husband Craig and her son Cole as well as by her parents, sister and brother, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, cousins and her beloved labradoodles Bosco and Dunkin’.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the efforts put forth by Alison’s multiple medical teams.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-3 PM on Saturday, June 8 at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton with a time for remembrances to be held at 2:00 PM.
