Adele Catagnus, age 87, passed away peacefully with family surrounding her on November 12, 2024. Adele is survived by her beloved husband, Phil Catagnus of 69 years. Phil was her loving and steadfast caretaker to the very end. Together, they raised four daughters and three sons.
Adele was a talented woman; most of her time was spent teaching herself many skills that came so easily to her, such as sewing, crocheting, jewelry-making, and ceramics. Adele used her many talents to create her own businesses including a wig/boutique shop and a ceramic shop.
Adele took on many challenges of life; armored with a quiet but unwavering strength. She will be forever remembered as a fighter, as she battled lung cancer for over two years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her spouse, Phil Catagnus, her seven children: Philip Catagnus Jr, Deb Petratos, Linda Knowlton, Glen Catagnus, Lisa Shaw, Joe Catagnus, Cindy Antonacci, and their spouses; along with her fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
