William Green Jr. Obituary

William H. Green, Jr., age 76 passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. He was the son of the late William and Ellen Green of Marion, Ohio and joined his late brother Michael.

William proudly served his county in the United States Navy as a submariner. He was an avid reader and Ohio State Buckeye Fan. He loved fishing with friends and traveling around the world.

He is survived by his wife Cynthia (Lenardson) Green and brothers, Terry (Betsy), Alan (Carolyn J.), Robert, and Mark (Carolyn I.), many nieces and nephews, and his constant companion, zin, a maltese dog.

Private services will be held.

In memory of Bill, being a retired Navy man, the family suggests donations to the Wounded Warrior Project of a No Kill Animal Shelter.
