Violet Economou

Violet Economou 1921 - 2018

Formerly of Detroit, MI, Violet passed away on May 6 in Boca Raton, FL.  Violet graduated from high school and then worked her favorite job at Saks Fifth Ave. She married Milton (predeceased) following his WWII service in the U.S.N.

Violet enjoyed cooking, sewing, and comedy. She was truly devoted to her marriage of 57 years and her five children.

The best proof of Violet’s devotion is the state of her family today.  In these modern times families are easily fractured.  The unity of her family is evidence of her success.  The continuation of this unity will always be a testament to Violet’s love and guidance.

Violet leaves her loving memory to her children, JoAnn Chapman (Chip) of Boca Raton, FL, Mary Kay Prout (Leon Smith) of Ormond Beach, FL, Helen Lang of Boca Raton, FL, Bill Economou (Cindy) of Ortonville, MI and Susan Marciniak (Ed) of Boca Raton, FL, six grandchildren, three sisters, nephews, nieces and very special friends.

Private services including a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
