Tom Patrick Sherhag

Tom Patrick Sherhag, 70, of Boca Raton peacefully passed away on August 5, 2017.

Born in Beach City, Ohio, he was the youngest son to the late Donald Adrian and Therma Osgood Sherhag. Tom, lovingly known as “Chief”, treasured the time he spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, friends and loyal companion, Einstein. Tom enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, sharing time with those he loved, sitting around a fire, playing euchre with friends, grilling, chopping firewood and working on a variety of home improvement projects. He will be remembered for his calm demeanor, witty one liners and most importantly, his endless love and devotion to his wife and their family. Tom served in the Army National Guard in Ohio.

Upon relocating to Florida in 1988, he established Roof Rite Systems, Inc.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Patrice, their children Neil Sherhag, Mark Sherhag, Greg Sherhag, Barry (Lily) Cohen, Ross Cohen, Lindsay Sherhag, brothers Larry (Patricia) Sherhag, and Michael (Kathleen) Sherhag. With fond memories, Tom leaves behind his nine adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. He is preceded in death by his brother Richard (Donna) Sherhag.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Glick Family Funeral Home, 3600 N Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, FL. The Gathering will be from 2-4pm, with a service beginning at 4pm.
