Thomas V Rankin Jr.

Thomas V Rankin Jr., age 43, passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack on September 10, 2018. 

He was born in San Antonio, TX on October 19, 1974.  It was at Pope John Paul II High School in Boca Raton, FL where he met his wife Marcie (Maggio) Rankin.  They were married on March 20, 2010 and had their son, Rocco Thomas Rankin on June 13, 2013.  Tom was a devoted husband and father who lived his life to the fullest.  To those that knew him, he was a charming gentle giant with the heart of a teddy bear.

He is survived by his wife Marcie, son Rocco, mother Dianna Rankin, father Thomas Rankin, siblings Lexie Kindbom, Caroline Akervik, Ruth Rankin and Carroll Rankin, along with his father and mother-in-law John and Sylvia Maggio, and seven much loved nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held at 12pm on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 21689 Toledo Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33433.
