Thomas Allen Doyle

Thomas Allen Doyle passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 26, 2019.  He was 85 years old.  Thomas was born in Cedar Creek, Virginia on October 25, 1933 the son of David Gratton Doyle and Lucille Smith Doyle.  He was raised and educated in Virginia until he decided to join the US Navy in 1951 at the age of seventeen.  On one of his furloughs back home, he married his love and soulmate, Wilma Marguerite Huber Doyle; their family became complete with the birth of a son. 

Mr. Doyle was honored to work in Washington DC at the Pentagon with the joint Chief of Staff.  He retired his military career with the US Air Force in 1971.   He took a management position in the Textile industry in Georgia where he and Wilma enjoyed a quiet life in Dalton.   In his spare time, Tom was an excellent card player, enjoying a good game among friends.   Truly, the love of his life was his wife.  Wilma passed away on December 23, 2014. 

Thomas Allen Doyle is a man remembered for the love and devotion he gave his family and country.  He is survived by his son Thomas A. Doyle II of Boca Raton and daughter-in-law Michelle Doyle.

Mr. Doyle will be laid to rest at 1:45pm on Tuesday, January 29th with full Military Funeral Honors at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida.
