Thomas Dauro

Beloved brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and dear friend, Tommy Dauro of Coconut Creek, FL (formerly of Rockland County, NY) passed away peacefully at home on June 26, 2019.

Tommy was born on March 10, 1956 in the Bronx, New York, to the late Marie and Patrick Dauro.

Tommy is survived by his sisters Regina and Janet, brother Andrew, sister-in-law Cindy, brother-in-laws Domenico (Rosa) and Frank. Nephew, Donato (Catherine), nieces, Antonietta (Bradley), Erika, Dana (Anthony), Gina (Michael).  Grand nieces Arianna and Kristina, grand nephews, Anthony, Domenic, Christopher and Oliver.

Tommy, a 63 year old Down Syndrome adult, was a sweet, kind, lovable man who touched everyone's heart that he came in contact with. He was active and participated in Special Olympics, enjoyed bowling and swimming and simply adored his family and friends. He enjoyed attending the various programs which provided him a wonderful quality of life throughout his years, Venture Day Treatment Center (Sparkill, NY), Seagull Alternative School (Dania Beach) and Twin Palms Center for the Disabled (Boca Raton).

The family will receive friends for visitation at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton, FL. on Friday, June 28th, From 5:00 - 7:00 pm.   A Mass will be celebrated the following day, Saturday, June 29th at St Jude Catholic Church, 21689 Toledo Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33433 at 10:00 am.

Funeral Services will also be held in New York. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 36 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, NY 10954, followed by burial at the cemetery. A reception of celebration with family & friends will follow at:

His memory will be eternal.
