Stephen Ray Greene, age 78, of Boca Raton, passed away peacefully at TrustBridge/Hospice by the Sea on Sunday, August 05, 2018. He was born, March 15, 1940 in Butler, PA to the late Sheldon Greene and Dorothy Greene Behrens. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Patricia (Snyder); three sons: Stephen and his wife, Emily; James; and Sean; two grandsons: Bryce and Finley; and his sister, Dianne Pike and her husband, Rick.
Steve was a graduate of Connelley Trade School in Pittsburgh, PA; served in the US Air Force, 821st Squadron; worked as a union carpenter in Pittsburgh and as a carpenter for the Broward County, Florida School District until retirement and most recently as a Concierge for the Mayfair, in Boca Raton. Steve was an avid Harley Davidson rider; die hard Steeler fan; loved singing karaoke (favorite song, "Kick in the Head"), playing cards; and truly enjoyed the casinos. He was a member of the American Legion, Elks and Moose Clubs and was a former President of the East Boca Pittsburgh Club. The family will be forever grateful to all of their wonderful friends who gave so willingly in their time of need; Reverend Andrew Hagen; Dr. Douglas David and for the compassion and care given by Margaret at TrustBridge.
A memorial service in celebration of Stephen's life will be held on Saturday, August 11th at 1:30pm at Advent Lutheran Church of Boca Raton.

He will be laid to rest with Military Funeral Honors in a private family ceremony at the South Florida National Cemetery.
