She continued in the retail realm once she moved to Florida working at Burdine’s (Macy’s) for over 6 years. Rose Marie loved music and swooned as a bobby-socker to Frank Sinatra. She was a movie buff, John Wayne being her favorite actor. She loved her family and friends deeply. She was happiest with a crowd around her table. The coffee pot was always on the ready when someone dropped in. She loved to read. When she wasn’t entertaining she had a book, cigarette and a cup of coffee." Early mornings it was cigarette, coffee and her prayer book.
A gathering of family and friend will be held from 11-12 pm at Glick Family Funeral Home where a Memorial Service will begin at 12 Noon.
