Robert is the son of Phyllis and Michael Marino of Highland Beach, Florida. The family was formerly from Staten Island, New York. Robert leaves behind brothers Michael Marino (Kelly) from Staten Island and Christopher (Nancy) from Boca Raton. Robert lived previously on Staten Island and graduated from Moore Catholic High School. He worked as a Broker in the Financial Services Industry in New York City for many years.
His daughter Gia said “His favorite place in the whole world was the water....we ended up there without even thinking. The first thing we did together was jump in the car and went straight to the beach, and didn't even realize what we had done until we got there. The smells reminded us of the best memories we have had together... and now I know where to go to feel close to you.”
His son Robert Marino Jr. said "My dad was the greatest fisherman alive, no matter what body of water, he could always catch a fish. He had a heart of gold that was filled with love"
