Robert Lee (Sr.) Brooks

Robert L. Brooks, Sr. of Delray Beach passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Delray Community Hospital.  He was 75 years old.  Robert came into the world on March 25, 1942 in Richmond, Virginia; one of four children born to Benjamin and Minnie Brooks. 

Bob met his love and soul mate, Gloria Drabek; they married in Baltimore, Maryland on August 15, 1961 and started a family.  They moved in Florida in 1983 and were blessed with the joy of grandchildren.  Bob was preceded in death by his beloved Gloria in 2014 as well as his brother Benjamin Brooks.

He leaves to cherish his memory loving daughters Toni Tremblay of Boynton Beach and Sandy (Brian) Paolini of Deerfield Beach; devoted son Robert L. Brooks, Jr of Delray Beach; four precious grandchildren: Brittany Fuchs, Rachel Tremblay, Brooke Paolini and Sierra Paolini; a great-grandson Travis Fuchs.  Robert is also survived by his brother Joseph Brooks and his sister Ellen Brown.

A Memorial Service in celebration of his life will be held at 6pm on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Glick Family Funeral Home, Boca Raton.
