Richard George Pellito, 72, of Boca Raton, FL (formally of Flanders, NJ) passed away on August 3, 2019 after a year long battle with cancer.
He was born to parents Anthony and Bernadette Pellito on March 8, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY. Rich graduated from Bergen County Technical School and attended Sam Houston State University before being drafted into the Army where he honorably served during the Vietnam War.
Rich is survived by Millie, his wife of over 50 years, his sons Michael (Maria), Steve (Sarah), four grandchildren; Ryan, Caden, Rocco and Lucas, and sisters Diane Hall and Janet Peake.
Rich enjoyed being with family and friends, watching his grandchildren play sports, and spending time outdoors. He worked in the printing industry for 47 years, was an officer in the Knights of Columbus, and was an active volunteer at the local soup kitchen.
A memorial mass will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes in Boca Raton, FL.
