I just saw this now that Mr. Koch passed away.. I was telling my son a story about one of my favorite chemistry teachers Mr. Koch. So I decided to look him up.tobshow my son his picture. Unfortunately I see he passed away. Very sad to find this out. The story I told my son was how when you would get a good grade on his test in class he would give you Koch bucks.. If you got an A, I think you would get like $25 or 20 and you could later on use that money to get a higher grade on a test. You may have not done so well in. He may have charged $25 to get your grade from a c to an A... It was kind of like curving a test. It was a really neat concept. You had to earn the money by doing very good on tests so he knew you at least tried hard on since tests.. Like u weren't a slacker so If you had a little bit of a mess up on another test, you can raise up your score a little bit... It also made you study harder because you wanted to earn more bucks on your next test to use on a future test. Thanks for being a fun caring teacher. You were one of the best.
