Cuomo, Phyllis Ann; 59, of Boca Raton, FL died Saturday, June 1, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.
Phyllis was born on April 10th, 1960, in Belvidere, Illinois to Kenneth and Joyce Latimer. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Gerard, twin sons, Anthony (Jacqueline) and Michael (Julie), daughter, Caroline, and grandchildren Preston, Kaylee, and Olivia. She is also survived by her loving sisters Melissa, Janice, Nancy, Suzanne, and Karen and their immediate families.
She attended Marengo High School and earned her Bachelor and Master of Science in Education at Eastern Illinois University. Upon graduating, she moved to S. Florida and has been a resident since.
Phyllis was the proud office manager at the family owned dental practice. She would greet every person that came through the door with a beautiful smile and ensured those same people left with an even brighter smile.
Phyllis was a devout and active member of Ascension Catholic Church.
Phyllis’s life was filled with love and passion for family and friends. She looked forward to spending time with those she loved, traveling and participating in family games. She taught us to enjoy the power of people and simple conversation by placing others first. Phyllis frequently reminded us that we have more time than lives. She was known to warm the hearts of anyone who was around her.
A viewing in Phyllis’s honor will be hosted at Glick Family Funeral Home on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be offered Friday, June 7, 2019, at 1:00 pm at Ascension Catholic Church, 7250 N. Federal Highway Boca Raton, FL 33487. Entombment will follow at the Boca Raton Mausoleum.
