Patricia Taylor Obituary

Patricia A. Taylor
September 25, 1938 - March 11, 2019

Patricia "Patty" Taylor was born on September 25, 1938 to Donald and Alma Grant, and was raised in Havre de Grace, Maryland. While working at the Aberdeen Proving Ground, she met Russell Taylor who was serving in the Army at the time. They were married on November 29, 1958 in Havre de Grace. They moved back to Chicago, Russell's home town.

They raised their family during the 60's and 70's in Bridgeview, Illinois. Patricia worked for a number of years as a Claims Representative for the Social Security Administration.
August of 1981, they began a new adventure and purchased a farm in the small rural town of Monee, Illinois. The Farm would become a fun location for many gatherings with family and friends.

After experimenting with the "snow bird" routine for fifteen years, they moved permanently to Boca Raton, Florida in 2004.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 60 years, Russell, her two sons, Russell and Robert, her brother Donald Grant, her sister-in-law Anne Grant,  her sister Donna Lee Lennon, her granddaughter Abigail, and grandson Nathaniel.

A Family and Friends Gathering will be held from 1:00 - 2:30 with the Memorial Service starting at 2:30 on Saturday, March 16, 2019.  The service is at the Glick Family Funeral Home, 3600 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL  33431.
