Nickolas Loulis of Boca Raton passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019; he was 83 years old.
Nickolas was born on the island of Ikaria, Greece on February 15, 1936. He was a Merchant Marine and came to America at the age of sixteen. Nickolas eventually settled in Ohio where he met and married Loretta Rizzute. They raised their family in Chicago, Illinois and then Lowell, Indiana. Nickolas and Loretta relocated to South Florida in 1984. They have been actively involved with their church, St. Jude of Boca Raton for many years. Nick was a hard-working family man and the founder of Omega Painting, Inc.
Sadly, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Peggy. He is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Loretta; daughter Nicki and son-in-law Kevin; son John and daughter-in-law Luanne. He also leaves behind grandchildren: Bryan, Alison, Nick, Jr. and his wife Nina, Cory and Alexis; as well as great-grandchildren Christian, Jayden and John, Jr.
A visitation will be held from 1-3 PM on Sunday, April 28 at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 29 at St. Jude Catholic Church – 21689 Toledo Road, Boca Raton. Glick Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
